The Paris Internationale Talks Program unfolds as a series of conversations initiated by invited partners, bringing together voices from the Milanese and international art scenes. Fondazione Nicola Trussardi presents Aperto Italia, a one-day program conceived by Massimiliano Gioni. Taking its title from the historic Biennale section, the program revisits the idea of emergence, while also paying tribute to Giancarlo Politi and his presentations of Italian art in the pages of Flash Art. «Italy fails to qualify for the FIFA World Cup, while the Venice Biennale Arte 2026 records the lowest number of Italian artists in over 120 years. What is happening? Let’s talk about it.» Rather than offering answers, Aperto Italia opens a space for discussion, tensions, and critical perspectives on the context in which art takes shape today.
